Summer always invites us to feel the street where we can meet again with neighbours and friends or greet those who visit us. There's no better way to do it than with the Gran Fira de València, a fair which will celebrate its 150th anniversary in two years, but still keeps going strong.
In addition to the usual premises of Concert de Vivers and Jardins del Palau, in recent years the fair has become bigger than ever spreading through every nook of the city with this Correfira that roams the districts and towns of València. It has also grown thanks to the four nights that guide most of the activities every weekend: The Folk Nights connect us with traditional music and our festive heritage; The Nit a la Mar brings live performances next to the Mediterranean Sea; The Gran Nit fills the historical centre with culture and festive traditions; and the Nit de la Punxà, which preludes the Batalla de Flors, a peaceful battle that marks the end of the fair. All of it will be coupled with the firework displays included in the Focs de Fira cycle.
Thanks to the cooperation between institutions, coordinating activities to offer citizens the most complete programme of events, the fair has been able to grow larger. This allows us to offer a diverse proposal, aimed to every audience, which mixes general and specific approaches. A programme to, once again, turn our city into an outdoor stage for a great urban festival where music, performances, fireworks, cinema and cuisine will refresh summer evenings and nights
